Short CV of Dr Alicia Grant：
Graduated from Sydney University as a physiotherapist and practised in Sydney, South Africa and UK before attending an acupuncture course in Hong Kong at the Acupuncture Research Institute. Certificate of Advanced Acupuncture from Shanghai University of TCM, attended a course at Nanjing TCM University and months of clinical experience at Zhejiang TCM University and three Shanghai TCM University hospitals as well，then returned to UK to practise. Formerly tutor of acupuncture and pathology and clinical supervisor at two colleges in London: the London College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and the Xinglin Postgraduate College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Director); Tutor and Member of the Education and Research Committee of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists).
In addition to articles on acupuncture published in the Journal of Chinese Medicine, the European Journal of Integrated Medicine and the AACP Journal, three articles were published in the Chinese Journal of Medical History in 2009, 2010 and 2013. Papers were read at International Conferences of the History of Science in East Asia in Seoul (1996), Singapore (1999), Xian (2002), Munich (2005), Hefei (2010); the History of Technology and Science Budapest (2009), the 4th Meeting of Medical History (Beijing 2009), 6th International Conference of the European Society of the History of Science (Lisbon 2014) and the International Conference of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (Athens 2015).
She was awarded an MA (University College London) in the History of Medicine and a PhD (Kingston University) in the Faculty of Science for the thesis “The Globalisation of Variolation and its Achievement”. She is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and is presently writing a book based on the above thesis.
馬伯英教授簡介：
馬伯英教授，英國(guó)中(zhōng)醫(yī)師學(xué)會會長(cháng)，中(zhōng)西醫(yī)結合和醫(yī)學(xué)史專家。在國(guó)内外任十餘所大學(xué)教授，在英國(guó)為(wèi)Kingston University客座教授。是李約瑟博士《中(zhōng)國(guó)科(kē)學(xué)技(jì )術史》醫(yī)學(xué)卷合作(zuò)者和英國(guó)皇家醫(yī)學(xué)會終身院士。臨床擅治疑難雜症, 被有(yǒu)關機構評聘為(wèi)國(guó)際名(míng)醫(yī)、名(míng)老中(zhōng)醫(yī)。其率先以人類學(xué)方法研究醫(yī)學(xué)文(wén)化及其曆史，成為(wèi)中(zhōng)醫(yī)文(wén)化人類學(xué)的奠基者、開創者。著作(zuò)十餘種，發表論文(wén)300餘篇。近著《中(zhōng)國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)文(wén)化史》二卷本174萬字，在海内外深受好評。
